Curated in tandem with the Casket Arts Building’s First Thursdays program, Casket Dances featured works by Renée Copeland, Laurie Van Wieren, and Annika Johansson / Abigail Whitmore. Audience members traveled between floors of the building, encountering a different performance on each level.

Laps(e) draws inspiration from fluid identities - how they form and reform, how personal roles contain multiplicities, and how relationships within family shift over time. Hanging blind contour drawings, a tilted rocking chair, and a fan conjure connections to memory.
