Soft Tennis is a work-in-progress and a re-entry into dance-making and moving together. The piece and process embrace gentleness, listening to impulses, tiny grooves, collective joy, and mutual support.

 

Audience members reflect on questions connected to the work’s themes, writing responses in a shared notebook passed from person to person: “When was the last time you jumped on a trampoline?” “What sound reminds you of summer as a child?” “Who do you want to send love to?”
